"Aldred's Grand National Archery Scoring Book"
I've just bought a copy of this booklet. It's made by Henry Penny, 3X5 inches, green leather bound and the pages are gold painted on all sides. It's only been used once or twice, no name in it, but someone has written down the scores for "The Prince's reckoning" on the first blank page. Does anyone know when these scoring books were made? Ole

Re: "Aldred's Grand National Archery Scoring Book"
Thomas Aldred sold at least two types of score book (I have examples). They were available into the 1920's for certain. Scorebooks were also sold by F.H. Ayres, Buchanan, Grant of Exeter, and latterly by Lillywhites. Lillywhite's seemingly provided score books for specific Rounds, My example is for Western Rounds. Do you have any ephemera to trade ?.

Re: "Aldred's Grand National Archery Scoring Book"
I only have some medals, postcards and trading card and the only dublicates I have is a trading card from the German magarine producer Sanella, showing three women aiming their bows up in the sky and two "Straight Arrow" cards ("Indian Bow Making" and "Indian Arrow Making"). These cards came with "Nabisco Shredded Wheat" from around 1948. Ole
