They claim this is the back laminate of a two wood bow from 3500 BC. Unfortunate it is mostly in Swedish, but I will post it anyway. Oddbjørn.

Ole - it certainly looks as if it might be - but if it was a laminated bow what on earth would they have used for glue ? Perhaps the two parts were bound together ? but if so how would the bow "work" Do please keep us informed of developments. Any chance you can translate the key points for us ?
This is something which should appear in the Journal when more is known.
