Spaldings Athletic Library.
Some time ago I asked about Spaldings Library. I can't find the link again, so here is a new one.
During the last month I've been able to purchase three copies of Spaldings booklets.
The oldest is a copy of the Athletic Library from August 1895 "Archery" written by James S. Mitchell. The two others are almost identical. The oldest "Spalding's Athletic Library, Lawn Sports" 1931, with a drawing of a couple shooting in the longbow on top and on the bottom people playing croquet. The other, from 1939, is called "Lawn Games" and on the cover there is a photo, all in green, of a lawn.
As far as I've seen I "only" need one more booklet to complete my collection, the 1906 "Archery Guide", so if anyone has a spare copy for sale!!?
