Cumbria Cumberland & Westmorland

I am starting to write a history of Cumbria County Archery Association, archery in general in Cumbria and prior to 1974 Cumberland, Westmorland and the Furness area of Lancashire.
CCAA was founded in 1954 but know one seems to know by who and what clubs, also Cumbria did not exist then so what was it called?
I am looking for any mention of Cumbria clubs in books, magazines, entry forms, results sheets or any bits and bobs there may be, to try and get a fuller picture as possible.
I have found mention of Cumberland Archery Association but not Westmorland.
If you are not familiar with the area some of the places I know clubs have existed are: Penrith, Keswick, Kendal, Maryport, Longtown, Carlisle, Barrow, Millom, Seascale, Bassenthwaite and Grange Over Sands.
If people wouldn't mind having a look especially from the 50s and 70s then it would be much appreciated.
