Re: Stone Age bow This is very exciting. We are just starting work on the next Arrowhead and it would be good to include a resume of the information about the bow. It is interesting that the bow is of elm - is there a shortage of yew in Denmark ? The shape of this bow is very similar to the Mere Heath bow which was also of elm. I wonder if any work has been done on the hypotheses that the wood used for an ancient bow dictated is shape ?
