That is beautiful. I am intrigued by the tips - it looks as if the "ivory" does not surround the wood but is laminated to it = is that correct ?

Yes, that is correct. An angled surface is ground on the bow tip and a piece of ivory, horn or hard wood is ground flat and glued on. Flat well fitting surfaces are important. I accidentally erased the full draw picture so I am posting it again. Oddbjorn.
