I am looking for some information on medieval arrow heads. I have seen photos of some socketed arrow heads which show a hole for a rivet to secure the head to the shaft. My question is, was there a pair of holes opposite each other, which would allow a rivet to be placed through the hole and then peened over? Or was there just one hole and were they nailed in place instead?
Thank you for any help you can give.
