 Strange characters
I noticed this a few months ago and hoped it would be something temporary but that doesn't seem to be the case.
My username has had the å replaced with a string of other characters so each and everytime I log on I have to go to the list of forum members and copy it to paste in the username before logging on.
However, when posting a message it seems to work OK, at least from my end.
Any ideas as to what's causing this?

Hakan - I wish I knew what is going on. I too noticed this but thought that it was something which only affected the receiver of the message, I had no idea you were having such problems.
Since so many countries do not have the "o" over any characters, it may be that our system - not recognising it - puts what it thinks is meant.
I will have a word with my software guru and see if he has any ideas. It would be unfortunate if you were deprived of your "o".

I've thought about the software issue too and since the forum readily accepts the same character in posts it should be OK, but in the end that's no guarantee of anything.
Thank you for the quick fix of my username.
Regarding typing the å character on a keyboard without it:
Press and hold Alt, then press 9 0 2 in sequence on the keypad and release the Alt and it should appear.
