Post Peter Rigby, bowyer & fletcher London?
I've just bought a copy of Pope's "Hunting with the Bow & Arrow" (2. ed. 1925)
According to the seller, it belonged once to Peter Rigby, a bowyer and fletcher in the late 1920s.
He has written his name on the first page and there are two addresses:
St. Mary Hospital, London W 2
Baxterley, Nr. Atherstone(?) Warwickshire.
Does anyone know anything about him?
I can't find anything on the internet.
Ole

Just a guess this, but I have a vague recollection of seeing the name Rigby in the list of members of the Worshipful Company of Bowers (or was it Fletchers) can't be certain as I'm a Freeman of both Companies. I'll check this out. Leter, I see that there is currently a 'Rigby' who is a Fletcher, !. Could have been a relation. ?
